AASHI PRIME

I am a people lovin', music lovin' creative. When not trekking nature (the Himalayas is on the list!), I love creating PR strategies and content for global music artists. I graduated from SOAS (University of London 2013) with BA History and South Asian Studies. 

My career includes working in the music industry for just over 7 years as a digital marketing specialist. My expertise is in audience development through targeted digital sales. My strategies have sold out the Arnolfini (Bristol) twice, Birmingham Hippodrome and supported to sell out the Core Theatre, Solihull; I exceeded target sales for Musicport Festival 2024. 

I completed an apprenticeship in content creation with the BPI (British Phonographic Institute) and have had the honour to create digital content for globally acclaimed artists including tabla legend Ustad Amjad Ali Khan, GRAMMY winning Vishwa Mohan Bhatt, Fado star Lina_ and jazz musician Carmen Souza.

I also worked in film and TV as chief edit translator for the BBC (Welcome to India & India's Supersize Kids) and films including Trishna, directed by Michael Winterbottom. My journalism experience inculdes interviewing Bollywood celebrities Ranbir Kapoor, Irrfan Khan and Alia Bhatt.
